Nicola Cheshire (acupuncturist)

Nicola Cheshire

BSc (Hons), MBAcC

My interest in holistic health and acupuncture came about after suffering with my own health problems in my late teens.  After working in the travel industry for many years, I decided it was time to combine my love for working with people, with my dream of helping others through acupuncture and holistic health. In 2020 I decided to take the plunge and began my traditional acupuncture studies with the Open University at Lincoln College and I am proud to have achieved a First Class BSc (Hons). During these intense three years, I not only gained in depth knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture but studied western pathophysiology to enable my understanding of health from both perspectives.

To my delight, I have been invited back to Lincoln College to help teach the introduction of clinical skills to current year 2 students, enabling me to share my passion with future practitioners.

I am a member of and fully insured by The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the largest professional body for traditional acupuncturists and I can also be found on the accredited register of the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I am passionate and truly committed to help you achieve optimal health and to accomplish this I am constantly updating my knowledge in traditional acupuncture, health conditions and the ever evolving scientific research into acupuncture treatment and its effects. Recent courses I have attended include electro acupuncture and applied channel theory for musculoskeletal issues.

I truly love what I do, and feel very privileged to treat everyone that comes into clinic.
